Baseball Recap: Seven Rivers Christian Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Seven Rivers Christian's offense. They fell just short of the Lakeside Christian Lions by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-4 back in March.

Mason Hogue spent all 7.1 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on eight hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Seven Rivers Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Lemar, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Seven Rivers Christian and nudges their season record down to 8-13. As for Lakeside Christian, their record now sits at 7-8.

Coming up, Seven Rivers Christian will welcome Saint Francis Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakeside Christian, they are taking a road trip to take on Indian Rocks Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
