Basketball Recap: Beecher Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Beecher faced off against Gardner-South Wilmington on Friday. The Bobcats fell 56-46 to the Panthers. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Gardner-South Wilmington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cameron Gray led the charge by dropping a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Leondre Kemp, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine boards.

Beecher's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Gardner-South Wilmington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Beecher has already played their next game, a 65-30 loss against Lena-Winslow on the 6th. As for Gardner-South Wilmington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 78-15 victory against Grace Christian Academy on the 9th.
