It was a good run, but Jupiter unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the South Fork Bulldogs by a score of 5-4. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Jupiter's defeat dropped their record down to 13-2. As for South Fork, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jupiter will take on Palm Beach Gardens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Gators' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for South Fork, they will square off against Wellington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
