Soccer Game Preview: Central vs. Woodlawn-B.R.

Central is 1-6 against Woodlawn-B.R. since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wildcats will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Central will be strutting in after a win while Woodlawn-B.R. will be coming in after a defeat.

Central's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They blew past Livonia 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Central.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Woodlawn-B.R. was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They lost 4-1 to Fontainebleau. The loss put an end to Woodlawn-B.R.'s undefeated start to the season.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 2-3-2. As for Woodlawn-B.R., their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-2.

Central suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to Woodlawn-B.R. when the teams last played back in January. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
