Basketball Recap: Questa Comes Up Short

After flying high against Antonito last Friday, Questa came back down to earth. The Questa Wildcats took a blow against the Escalante Lobos on Thursday, falling 54-20. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Questa lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Urijah Griego, who posted ten points and seven rebounds.

Even though they lost, Questa smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in five consecutive games.

Questa's defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Escalante, their record now sits at 9-6.
