Volleyball Recap: West Rusk Takes a Loss

West Rusk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the BVCHEA HomeSchool Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Friday.

Hannah Haffner paced West Rusk's offense, picking up 12 kills. Haffner got some help from Kimora Pryor and her 14 assists. Irelind Hunt controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

West Rusk's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for BVCHEA HomeSchool, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

West Rusk has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Frankston on the 16th. BVCHEA HomeSchool has also already played their next game (against Franklin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
