Football Game Preview: Solon Comets vs. Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees

The Solon Comets will head out on the road to challenge the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Things were looking good for Solon after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost 27-3 to Twinsburg. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Comets struggled afterwards.

Meanwhile, Brecksville-Broadview Heights fell victim to Hudson and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 27-0 loss at the hands of the Explorers. The Bees have struggled against the Explorers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 2-6. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Solon came up short against Brecksville-Broadview Heights in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 28-19. Can the Comets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
