Softball Recap: Moon Valley Comes Up Short

Moon Valley lost against Tempe back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Moon Valley Rockets came up short against the Tempe Buffaloes, falling 12-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Vida Cedillo was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Moon Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Tempe, their victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Moon Valley will square off against Benson at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tempe, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Combs at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Tempe is facing Combs at the right time seeing as Combs is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
