The Lehman Lobos will head out on the road to face off against the Glenn Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
On Tuesday, everything went Lehman's way against Cedar Park as Lehman made off with a 12-1 victory. Considering the Lobos' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Malayla Gabriel made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one triple. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.
In other batting news, Lehman let Isabella Ramirez and Shyanne Pena run wild. Ramirez scored a run while going 2-for-2, while Pena scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. That run was Ramirez's first of the season. Olivia Montoya was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glenn). They blew past Lockhart 15-4 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won eight in a row.
Maddy Butler looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
At the plate, Deanna Dailey was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Ally Johnson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with five RBI, two runs, and one double.
Glenn was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Lehman is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. Glenn pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Lehman might still be hurting after the 9-1 defeat they got from Glenn when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Lehman avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
