Softball Recap: Nash Central Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Nash Central can now relate to. They came up short against the South Granville Vikings on Tuesday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Nash Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was GRACYN KING, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Nash Central has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for South Granville, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

Nash Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Granville, they will host Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pam Pack's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
