Volleyball Recap: Farrington Falls Short Against Ranked Moanalua

Farrington faced Moanalua in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Governors came up short against the Menehune, falling 3-0. The Governors have struggled against the Menehune recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-17, 25-16.

Farrington's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Moanalua, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Farrington is set to take on their familiar foe 'Anuenue at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Moanalua will square off against rival Kahuku at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
