Softball Recap: Olympic Takes a Loss

Olympic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Berry Cardinals, falling 22-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 18-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Olympic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Berry, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 5-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olympic will take on South Mecklenburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Berry, they will square off against Palisades at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Palisades has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.55 runs per game on average), something Berry will no doubt try to take advantage of.
