Baseball Recap: Farmington Takes a Loss

If Farmington was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Apple Valley on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell just short of the Rosemount Irish by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered since June 14, 2024.

Farmington's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Rosemount, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farmington will head out to challenge Lakeville South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
