Soccer Recap: Quincy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Tonasket on Tuesday, Quincy came back down to earth. The Jackrabbits fell 4-2 to the Othello Huskies on Saturday. Quincy were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Othello earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Quincy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7-1. As for Othello, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5-1 record this season.

Quincy will square off against East Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Valley's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Othello does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
