Soccer Recap: Headland Comes Up Short

Headland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Andalusia Bulldogs, falling 11-6. Even if the Rams couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Headland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Andalusia, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-8-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Headland will take on Carroll at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Headland has given up an average of 5.7 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Andalusia, they will challenge Greenville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
