Basketball Recap: Appleton East Comes Up Short

Appleton East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 76-50 to the Oshkosh North Spartans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-61 back in December of 2024.

Appleton East's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Oshkosh North, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

Appleton East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-32 defeat against Neenah on the 4th. As for Oshkosh North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-61 loss against Appleton North on the 4th.
