Volleyball Recap: Shelbyville Takes Down Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin in a Playoff Battle

Shelbyville had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Blue Devils on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Kenzie Jones paced Shelbyville's offense, picking up 11 kills. Jones got some help from Ava Corley and her 22 assists. Finally, Jones was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Shelbyville's record now sits at 26-9. As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, with the loss, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 22-8.

Shelbyville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Pana on the 30th. Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
