Allen Academy is a perfect 3-0 against Legacy Christian Academy since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Meanwhile, Legacy Christian Academy entered their contest against Alpha Omega Academy on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Warriors were beaten by the Lions 74-26. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Lions are ranked fifth).

Legacy Christian Academy suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 5-3. As for Allen Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Allen Academy skirted past Legacy Christian Academy 56-54 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
