Baseball Recap: Mt. Rainier Comes Up Short

Mt. Rainier made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Tahoma, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Rams fell just short of the Bears by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Rainier saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Enghusen, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Mt. Rainier's loss dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Tahoma, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mt. Rainier will square off against rival Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tahoma is set to take on their familiar foe Kentwood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
