The Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Eagles will head out to square off against the Summit Country Day Silver Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy will be strutting in after a win while Summit Country Day will be coming in after a defeat.

Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Purcell Marian on Tuesday. The Eagles never let the Cavaliers get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Joey Shafer was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Ames, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Purcell Marian only posted a batting average of .118.

Meanwhile, Summit Country Day has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.73 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They came up short against Cincinnati Christian, falling 13-5. The Silver Knights haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-5. As for Summit Country Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Summit Country Day in their previous meeting on April 1st, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
