Basketball Recap: Cedarcrest Red Wolves vs. Interlake Saints
Cedarcrest lost against Interlake back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cedarcrest Red Wolves were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 55-54 to the Interlake Saints.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Interlake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Clark Tonnon, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Dante Henton, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.
Cedarcrest's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Interlake, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4.
Cedarcrest will take on Sultan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sultan knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Cedarcrest likes a good challenge. As for Interlake, they will challenge Inglemoor at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Inglemoor is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66 points per game this season.
