Recap: Bethesda Christian Lions vs. Boles Hornets
On Saturday, Bethesda Christian didn't have too much trouble with Boles at home as they won 62-43. Given Bethesda Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while Boles is ranked 969th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Several Hornets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zion Mcfadden, who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds. Mcfadden hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Cruthird, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds.
Bethesda Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Boles, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethesda Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Heritage Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. As for Boles, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. Varsity Opponent has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 2.
