Volleyball Recap: Wray Comes Up Short

Wray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Wiggins Tigers. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-14, 25-7.

When it comes to explaining why Wray lost, don't look at Karissa Peterson. Despite the final result, she had ten digs. Peterson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Kellie Vicchrilli was the offensive standout of the match as she had nine digs and two assists.

Wray's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Wiggins, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7.

As of now, neither Wray nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
