Bishop LeBlond waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Excelsior Springs Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Bishop LeBlond never let Excelsior Springs on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22.

Rilyn Conard paced Bishop LeBlond's offense, picking up nine kills. Conard got some help from Kendall Cathcart and her 15 assists.

Bishop LeBlond's win bumped their record up to 22-4-1. As for Excelsior Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15-1 record this season.

Bishop LeBlond didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Pembroke Hill on the 11th.
