Baseball Recap: Liberty Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Liberty entered their tilt with Bishop Moore on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with an 11-6 win over the Hornets.

Jaydrien Klein-Baker and Austin Rodriguez did most of the damage at the plate: Klein-Baker went 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Rodriguez went 3-for-4 with three doubles, three RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave Rodriguez a new career-high. Chris Onoszko was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Liberty was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Bishop Moore, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-4.

Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-0 loss against Basic on the 24th. As for Bishop Moore, they have also already played their next game, an 8-4 win against Lake Brantley on the 26th.
