Basketball Recap: Poudre Community Academy Comes Up Short

Poudre Community Academy was the 58-25 winner over Two Roads Charter School when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Poudre Community Academy Warriors were dealt a 59-24 defeat at the hands of the Two Roads Charter School Falcons on Monday.

Despite the loss, Poudre Community Academy had strong showings from Kevin Swanson, who posted six points and seven rebounds, and Miguel Leal, who had three points. Swanson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.

Two Roads Charter School was led to victory by Weston Berhow and Kevyn Feldon. Berhow earned 18 points and seven boards, while Feldon dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Beau Work, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

Poudre Community Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Two Roads Charter School, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Poudre Community Academy will face off against Twin Peaks Classical Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Two Roads Charter School, they will square off against Ascent Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
