Soccer Recap: Sterling Starts Season with Victory at Home

Sterling took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Twin Peaks Classical Academy Timberwolves. Jeromy Rivas was a massive factor in the win as he booted in five goals all by himself.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sterling is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Roosevelt at 6:00 p.m. on September 2. As for Twin Peaks Classical Academy, they will square off against Dawson School at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
