Softball Game Preview: Washburn Millers vs. Highland Park Scots

The Washburn Millers will face off against the Highland Park Scots at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Washburn has given up an average of 8.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Washburn is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They came up short against Holy Family Catholic, falling 11-1.

Washburn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lynn Austin, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, Highland Park came up short against Apple Valley on Thursday and fell 10-5.

Highland Park now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Washburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.
