Softball Recap: Jacksonville Fightin' Indians vs. Marshall Mavericks
Jacksonville came into this matchup off a tough six-run loss last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Marshall Mavericks by a score of 16-14 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Fightin' Indians have suffered since February 21st.
Ryan Ramirez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored four runs and stole three bases while going 5-for-5. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024.
