Softball Recap: Metropolitan Comes Up Short

If Metropolitan was riding high fresh off their 17-7 takedown of Bushwick on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Metropolitan fell just short of The Baccalaureate School for Global Education Sting by a score of 8-7 on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Metropolitan of the 15-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Metropolitan has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10 record this season. As for The Baccalaureate School for Global Education, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

Metropolitan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for The Baccalaureate School for Global Education, they will square off against Beach Channel at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Sting will need to watch out since the Dolphins have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
