Emerson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology as Emerson made off with a 14-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for Emerson who now have three in a row.
Sophia Centeno was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits while striking out ten over 4.2 innings pitched. Centeno was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI and a double.
