Softball Recap: West Hall Spartans vs. Fannin County Rebels
West Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-3 to the Fannin County Rebels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 11-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
West Hall's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Fannin County, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Hall will face off against Monroe Area at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Monroe Area will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something West Hall surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fannin County, they will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Coosa at 5:00 p.m.
