It's playoff time, and Caledonia had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 16-3 margin over the New Albany Bulldogs on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Caledonia has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for New Albany, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Coming up, Caledonia will face off against Choctaw Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Albany does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
