Football Game Preview: Pullman Greyhounds vs. Archbishop Murphy Wildcats + How To Watch

The Pullman Greyhounds will square off against the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Pullman had just enough and edged out Riverside 32-29. The Greyhounds pushed the score to 32-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rams cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Murphy strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 56-7 victory over Sehome. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wildcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked third, while the Mariners are ranked 35th).

Archbishop Murphy's win came from a few key players Pullman will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Isaiah Smith, who picked up 30 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Another player making a difference was Orion Belleza, who rushed for 88 yards and one score.

Archbishop Murphy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 204 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Pullman's record now sits at 4-5. As for Archbishop Murphy, their record is now 8-0.
