Kelvyn Park had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Wednesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Instituto Health Sciences Phoenix. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Phoenix walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Kelvyn Park had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-15, 25-22.

Kelvyn Park found their leader in sophomore Jordan Partida Castillo, who had 25 digs and three aces.

Kelvyn Park pushed their record up to 9-1-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Instituto Health Sciences, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
