Berlin won the last time they faced New Britain and things went their way on Monday too. The Redcoats walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Hurricanes. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Redcoats.

Callie Szymanski was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Beatty, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Berlin's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for New Britain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Berlin is set to square off against their familiar foe Middletown at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, New Britain will challenge rival Southington at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
