Volleyball Recap: Mitchell Falls Short of Christ the King in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Mitchell and Christ the King squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Mitchell had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Crusaders. The Mountaineers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Mitchell was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-23, 25-19.

Christ the King can attribute much of their success to Anna Cannon, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Mitchell's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Christ the King, their win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 12-12.

As of now, neither Mitchell nor the Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
