Softball Game Preview: Crismon Rattlers vs. ALA - Queen Creek Patriots

For the second straight game, Crismon will face off against ALA - Queen Creek. The Rattlers will head out to take on the Patriots at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Crismon has five straight victories, ALA - Queen Creek has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Monday, Crismon made easy work of ALA - Queen Creek and carried off an 11-5 win. The Rattlers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matchups by six runs or more this season.

For ALA - Queen Creek's part, Taelyn Ehmke was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Sadie Nielson, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base.

Crismon pushed their record up to 20-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for ALA - Queen Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.
