Softball Recap: Manor Comes Up Short

Manor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-2 to the Granby Comets. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Mustangs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Manor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kara Ellis, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Manor's record is now 2-4-1. As for Granby, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Manor will take on rival Maury at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Granby is set to challenge their familiar foe Norcom at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
