While Seguin's victory against Everman wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars slipped by the Bulldogs 22-21 on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Seguin's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Everman, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Seguin and Everman will both be playing Mansfield Summit the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on November 7.
