Soccer Recap: Palmetto Scholars Academy's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Palmetto Scholars Academy proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by seven) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Charleston Math & Science Riptide, sneaking past 2-1. Palmetto Scholars Academy wouldn't have won without Owen Frye, who scored the game-winner.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Palmetto Scholars Academy, bringing their record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those four games. As for Charleston Math & Science, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmetto Scholars Academy will host Beaufort Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Charleston Math & Science, they will be playing at home against Baptist Hill on Thursday.
