Brayden Loyd Delivers Electric Performance Vs Haskell

Starting off the list is Seymour's Brayden Loyd, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Loyd threw for 201 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 112 yards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

If the past is any indication, Loyd could be in store for another big game when he takes on Electra on Friday. Loyd threw for 438 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 76.3% of his passes the last time he and the Tigers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Brock Belcher was instrumental in extending Windthorst's winning streak to three on Friday. Belcher turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 293 yards and five touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Munday had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Belcher it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Belcher saw the Moguls), he threw for 241 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76% of his passes, and also rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown.

Braylon Nava Delivers Best Effort of Season

Electra was led to victory by Braylon Nava, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Nava wasn't messing around, rushing for 54 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. The game was his third straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble, making ten total tackles, and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned for a touchdown.

The victory for Electra keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers dukes it out withSeymour at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Pinkerton Made His Presence Known in Haskell's 24-13 Defeat

Haskell had to settle for second on Friday, but Haegen Pinkerton sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the loss, Pinkerton was still balling out as he rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown.

Haskell's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3. Pinkerton and Haskell will venture away from home to challenge Munday at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Ian Mckiddy Leads Electra over Petrolia

Electra was led to victory by Ian Mckiddy, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Mckiddy threw for 225 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also punched in a rushing score.

This year, Mckiddy has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 93.4 passing yards per game.
