Baseball Recap: West Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Clarkston last Saturday, West Valley came back down to earth. The West Valley Eagles fell just short of the Cheney Blackhawks by a score of 10-9 on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Blackhawks: they've now lost three in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Valley fell to 2-1.

Coming up, West Valley will welcome Rogers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. West Valley is facing Rogers at the right time seeing as Rogers is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Cheney, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Medical Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
