Softball Recap: Hamilton Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Hamilton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Oregon Panthers a 3-0 shutout on Wednesday. Three seems to be a good number for the Chargers as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The victory (which was Hamilton's fourth in a row) raised their record to 25-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Oregon, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 24-4 record.

Hamilton has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Kaukauna on the 12th. Oregon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
