Softball Recap: Notre Dame (SO) Comes Up Short

After flying high against Chatsworth on Friday, Notre Dame (SO) came back down to earth. The Notre Dame (SO) Knights fell just short of the Pacifica Mariners by a score of 6-5 on Saturday.

Jackie Morales led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexa Miranda, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Even though they lost, Notre Dame (SO) kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now hit at least ten hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Notre Dame (SO) now has a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Notre Dame (SO) and Pacifica will both be playing King the next time they take the field. Notre Dame (SO) will head out to face King at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Pacifica will play them later in the day, at 8:00 a.m.
