Soccer Recap: De La Salle Victorious

It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but De La Salle ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Reavis Rams 3-2. That's two games straight that De La Salle have won by just one goal.

Sara Murray and Sophia Torres scored all three of De La Salle's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

De La Salle has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two games. As for Reavis, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

De La Salle didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-2 win against Stagg on the 22nd. As for Reavis, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Plainfield South on the 22nd.
