Volleyball Game Preview: Chicago Mathematics & Science vs. Foreman Hornets

Chicago Mathematics & Science are taking a road trip to take on the Foreman Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Chicago Mathematics & Science came up short against Intrinsic and fell 2-0. Chicago Mathematics & Science hasn't had much luck with Intrinsic recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Chicago Mathematics & Science might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Intrinsic: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Foreman waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Mightymen by a score of 2-0.

Foreman easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-2.

Chicago Mathematics & Science's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Foreman, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Chicago Mathematics & Science couldn't quite get it done against Foreman in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can Chicago Mathematics & Science avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
