Softball Recap: Fort Dodge Takes a Loss

Fort Dodge was the 7-0 winner over Roosevelt when they last played one another back in June of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Dodgers took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roughriders on Wednesday. The Dodgers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fort Dodge's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Roosevelt, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Fort Dodge has already played their next game (against Webster City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Roosevelt will be paying especially close attention to the Dodgers' contest: after the Dodgers face off against the Lynx, they'll take on Roosevelt again at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
