Football Preview: Chiles Timberwolves vs. Wakulla War Eagles
Chiles hasn't had much luck against Wakulla recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jordan Barnes, who picked up 91 receiving yards, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Sion Ransom, who rushed for 67 yards and two touchdowns.
The win got Chiles back to even at 1-1. As for Wakulla, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1.
Chiles came up short against Wakulla in their previous matchup back in August of 2023, falling 21-17. Thankfully for Chiles, Haden Klees (who threw for 218 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 48 yards) won't be suiting up this time.
