Volleyball Recap: Three Straight Home Wins for Mclaurin

McLaurin had won two straight home games and Kaylee Holeman did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Riverside Bulldogs for which the team can thank Holeman, who had 25 digs and three assists. Holeman is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

McLaurin had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-17, 25-11, 25-12.

McLaurin's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coming up, McLaurin will head out to face off against Pelahatchie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Chiefs at the right time seeing as the Chiefs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Riverside, they will welcome O'Bannon at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
